Lemonade Stand (2025) pairs nine advertising-style images with tradeable content coins on Zora. The studio describes an unintended creator-coin launch as the starting point, followed by a deliberate series built around the familiar idea of a small stand.
A market before an explanation
On 27 July 2025, Butcher says a Zora creator coin had been activated unintentionally when he logged into the app. That is his report of the circumstances, rather than an independently verified diagnosis of the platform.
On 29 July he publishes a post titled Lemonade Stand, attaching a profile screenshot with a nine-tile grid. This supplies a dated early state of the project before the later advertising-style images described by the studio catalogue.
Publishing and trading
The images can be viewed as pictures; their associated coins can also circulate through a market. Those are different encounters with the work. Transactions change holdings and market conditions without necessarily changing the poster image.
The original copy linked large supplies to guaranteed liquidity. That claim has been removed: the existence of units does not establish demand or the ability to sell them at a given price.

A proposed interactive extension
On 13 August, the artist begins sharing a market-simulator experiment and says it does not yet work. Later posts propose growing a virtual stand and using token prices to satirize financial ratios. The archive documents development ideas, not a completed game.
The internet is both the setting described by the work and the infrastructure of its circulation. A full release inventory still needs all nine coin addresses and dated image versions.
