some obvious ties to the themes being explored in checks and opepen another mark with global consensus that nobody owns - but we have reached consensus that it connotes ownership of some kind and ownership enables trade https://t.co/M5hXPCGVMh

in both collections, the ® is representative of either: motion between two points “trade marks” or as a “signature” the mark left after practicing one’s trade (in f1, the burnout)

to get a layer more meta what digital ownership (and markets) enable is the literal trading of the marks themselves which is why (imo) this all scratches at the confusing nature of intangible value trademarks are “psychological property” h/t @anthonyvmorley
